Ukraine's Foreign Minister, Andrii Sybiha, and President Volodymyr Zelenskiy's Chief of Staff, Andriy Yermak, stated on Saturday that they had discussed Kyiv's peace plan with China's Foreign Minister Wang Yi. The peace negotiations between Kyiv and Moscow are set to begin, involving senior officials from the U.S. administration.

Sybiha mentioned that during the meeting with Wang Yi, they reaffirmed mutual respect for territorial integrity and discussed enhancing bilateral relations and trade. They also exchanged views on Ukraine's perspective on achieving a comprehensive and lasting peace.

Wang, during the Munich conference, emphasized China's belief that all relevant parties should be involved in resolving the Russia-Ukraine conflict. Yermak, in a post on the messaging app Telegram, highlighted discussions not only focused on Ukraine's peace strategies but also on bolstering bilateral ties.
