Cows on a farm in Gloucestershire are now being milked by a robotic arm. Hartpury College has implemented a system that enables the cows to be milked at their convenience, which typically occurs up to three times a day. Students at the college are being educated on the utilization of milking robots in agriculture to equip them for prospective careers. According to Bryan Carter, the herd manager at Hartpury College and Hartpury University, the cows have shown increased contentment since the installation of the milking robots in September 2024.
