Three US Army personnel were arrested last Thursday for selling classified military information to China. The individuals involved are two active-duty soldiers from Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Jian Zhao and Li Tian, along with former soldier Ruoyu Duan. They allegedly transmitted secret documents that included HIMARS data and military readiness plans.
The breach has compromised sensitive US military capabilities, exposing technical details about Bradley and Stryker vehicles, as well as classified information regarding potential conflict scenarios with China. This incident underscores the increasing concerns surrounding military personnel engaging in the unauthorized sale of secrets to foreign powers.
