Stellantis Introduces First Automated Driving Technology In-House

On February 20, Stellantis announced the debut of its first in-house-developed automated driving system, STLA AutoDrive, aimed at allowing urban commuters to briefly focus on tasks other than driving.

According to the carmaker, this new system enables hands-free and eyes-off driving at speeds of up to 60 kilometers per hour (37 miles per hour), taking control of speed, steering, and braking, while adjusting to traffic conditions.

Stellantis plans to introduce STLA AutoDrive in its vehicles based on market demand, with the potential for the technology to operate at faster speeds of up to 95 kilometers per hour as it continues to evolve.
