In Zurich on January 28, Logitech International upgraded its annual forecast following a strong pre-holiday quarter marked by increased sales and profits. The company, known for its keyboards, mouse, and webcams, experienced a nearly 7% jump in sales to $1.34 billion, its peak quarter annually. This exceeded the anticipated $1.25 billion estimate by Visible Alpha.
With its adjusted operating profit up by 7% to $266 million for the quarter ending in December, Logitech attributed its success to robust demand for computer hardware accessories aimed at both businesses and gamers. Logitech CEO Hanneke Faber highlighted the "near pandemic-high levels" of gaming sales, fueled by recent product launches that resulted in outstanding sales within the premium Pro Gaming and MX product lines.
Looking ahead, the company now projects fiscal 2025 sales to fall within the range of $4.54 billion to $4.57 billion, marking an increase from its prior forecast of $4.39 billion to $4.47 billion.
