German Airport Strike Set to Affect Half a Million People on Monday

A 24-hour strike at major German airports is set to impact over 510,000 passengers, resulting in the cancellation of more than 3,400 flights, stated by Germany's airport operators association ADV. The strike was initiated by the trade union Verdi following unsuccessful wage negotiations, advocating for an 8% salary raise or a minimum of 350 euros extra per month.
