A Banksy painting titled "Crude Oil" is up for auction with an estimated value of up to 5 million pounds, aimed at supporting wildfire victims in Los Angeles. Mark Hoppus, the bassist of Blink-182, intends to use a portion of the proceeds to purchase art from emerging artists and to contribute to various charities. The auction's earnings will assist organizations such as the California Fire Foundation, Children's Hospital Los Angeles, and Cedars-Sinai Hematology Oncology Research. Hoppus expressed his admiration for Banksy's art, highlighting the connection he sees between skateboarding, punk rock, and street art by stating, "I feel like street art and punk rock have the same core."
