Dublin, February 13 (Reuters) - Avolon, the world's second-largest aircraft lessor, has recorded $177 million in proceeds from settling insurance claims for aircraft stuck in Russia due to Western sanctions in 2022. The company does not foresee any further recoveries.
Recently, Avolon, based in Ireland, confirmed reaching commercial resolutions with its insurers.
"We're not expecting any significant additional recoveries going forward," stated Avolon CEO Andy Cronin in an interview with Reuters.
