Ukraine continues to receive military aid from the U.S., President Volodymyr Zelenskiy stated on Wednesday, emphasizing that there are no current discussions regarding potential future aid packages.
"There's no reduction in U.S. support today. It is not stopped, it continues," he informed reporters in Kyiv following a meeting with the British foreign minister.
Washington has been a major supplier of military aid to Kyiv since the onset of the Russian full-scale invasion nearly three years ago.
Despite re-elected President Donald Trump's consistent criticisms of the level of U.S. assistance given to Kyiv, recent reports suggest that U.S. weapon shipments to Ukraine have resumed after a brief pause.
Zelenskiy mentioned that it is premature to discuss new rounds of military aid.
Regarding Ukraine's capability to defend itself without American support, Zelenskiy expressed concerns that cutting supplies would significantly impact the country's defense capabilities.
"We will be weaker, and whether we would hold (the land) - I'm not sure," he remarked.
