Staff members at the US Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency responsible for safeguarding election security have been placed on administrative leave. Seventeen employees, including ten regional election security specialists hired to bolster field staff and election proficiency before the 2024 election, have been placed on leave pending a review.
