Furthermore, the administration is currently engaged in discussions with four potential buyers for the Chinese-owned social media platform. In January, Trump signed an executive order to postpone enforcement of a U.S. law by 75 days, which mandates ByteDance, the owner of TikTok, to sell the platform due to national security concerns, or risk a ban.
