Meta clarified that the moderation was based on content policies for drug providers and not connected to recent speech policy changes. Aid Access revealed being blocked from its Facebook account since November, with other providers facing similar account suspensions and post removals. The crackdown on abortion pill providers escalated in the past two weeks, although some accounts were reinstated after reaching out to Meta.
