Tesla has been removed from the Vancouver International Auto Show due to safety concerns, according to event organizers. Eric Nicholl, executive director of the auto show, stated that Tesla was given multiple opportunities to voluntarily withdraw from the event.

These safety concerns arise amidst protests across the United States targeting Tesla's CEO, Elon Musk, who is leading an initiative to streamline the Department of Government Efficiency. Nicholl emphasized that the primary concern of the Vancouver Auto Show is the safety of attendees, exhibitors, and staff.
In related news, the city of Toronto has implemented restrictions on Tesla vehicles purchased for use as taxis or ride shares, a response to rising trade tensions between Canada and the United States.
