Stellantis to Provide Italy's Iveco with Two Electric Vans for Europe

Stellantis and Iveco announced on Friday their agreement for Stellantis to supply two fully-electric van models to the Italian truckmaker, assisting Iveco in broadening its EV van range in Europe.

The sales of these Iveco-branded vans, manufactured by Stellantis, are slated to commence by mid-2026 as part of a ten-year supply agreement, as stated in a joint release by the companies; however, specific financial terms were not disclosed.

These new vans, constructed on Stellantis' mid- and large-sized EV van platforms, will be manufactured at Stellantis Pro One van unit facilities in Atessa, Italy, Gliwice, Poland, and Hordain, France, and then distributed by Iveco throughout Europe, including the United Kingdom, via established channels.

With gross vehicle weights ranging from 2.8-3.1 tons to 3.5-4.25 tons, the upcoming Iveco vans will "complement the brand's battery electric offer for the European market and extend it into this lighter weight segment," according to the companies.

This agreement follows a previous one where Iveco secured the supply of a mid-sized electric van in the 2.5-3.5-ton weight category from the Italian group, expansion of an existing partnership.

Iveco Group is under the ownership of Exor, the investment firm of Italy's Agnelli family, which is also the largest shareholder of Stellantis.
