PARIS, Feb 7 (Reuters) - Stellantis, the world's fourth-largest carmaker, and the French technology and artificial intelligence (AI) firm Mistral, have decided to expand their strategic partnership to accelerate industry data analysis.
Many car manufacturers are increasingly utilizing AI to analyze customer feedback, manufacturing quality, and expedite new product development.
"Will this technology continue to help us? Of course," noted Ned Curic, Chief Engineering and Technology Officer at Stellantis, in a statement to Reuters.
"We can now conduct analysis in minutes, enabling us to make decisions in the afternoon, instead of waiting weeks," he added.
This decision follows a broader reorganization initiated earlier this month after CEO Carlos Tavares' unexpected departure in December.
