On January 21, Standard Chartered announced the appointment of Sal Vitale as managing director and head of coverage for the U.S. and the Americas.
Vitale brings nearly 25 years of corporate and investment banking experience, previously holding the position of managing director and head of U.S. corporate coverage at Deutsche Bank. He has a background of over 15 years at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, focusing on corporate, investment banking, and debt capital markets within energy, power, and industrial sectors.
In his new role, Vitale will lead initiatives to enhance the bank's coverage capabilities by facilitating connections between corporate and financial institution clients and its global network, according to Standard Chartered.
