SpaceX launched two lunar landers for U.S. and Japanese companies to promote business on the Moon. The landers followed separate paths with the goal of collecting lunar samples and carrying out experiments. The Firefly Aerospace lander is expected to reach the Moon in early March, while the ispace lander is set to arrive in late May or early June. NASA is providing funding of $101 million for Firefly's mission and an undisclosed sum of less than $100 million for ispace's mission.
