SpaceX Starship Prototype Fails in Space Following Texas Launch

SpaceX's Starship spacecraft exploded during a test flight on Thursday after launching from its Starbase facility in South Texas. According to SpaceX engineer Kate Tice, the spacecraft's engines started to fail, leading to a loss of contact just 8 1/2 minutes after liftoff. Despite the explosion, SpaceX managed to catch the Super Heavy booster with the mechanical arms of its launch tower, a feat it had accomplished before. The company aims to analyze the test data to determine the explosion's cause and enhance the reliability of the Starship.
