South Korea's Foreign Minister: North Korea Should Not Be Rewarded for Misdeeds in Ukraine

South Korea's Foreign Minister Cho Tae-yul stated that military cooperation between North Korea and Russia must cease, emphasizing that North Korea should not be rewarded for its actions during the ongoing conflict in Ukraine. He highlighted the importance of South Korea, Japan, and China faithfully implementing UN sanctions against North Korea and working to halt its provocations while striving for complete denuclearization. Cho is currently meeting with his Chinese and Japanese counterparts in Tokyo, marking the first trilateral talks since 2023.
