Shareholders Decline Proposal to Eliminate Apple's Diversity Programs

Apple shareholders voted against a proposal to terminate the company's diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives. The proposal, supported by a conservative think tank, contended that such programs posed legal and financial risks for Apple. In addition to this, shareholders also turned down proposals concerning AI privacy measures, charitable donations, and strategies to address child exploitation.
