Russian forces, according to Russia's Defence Ministry, have gained control over two more settlements in eastern Ukraine's Donetsk region in their ongoing westward advance. The ministry reported that Petropavlivka and Vremivka are now under Russian control. The Ukrainian military's General Staff mentioned ongoing heavy fighting near the key city of Pokrovsk. Russia's military has shifted focus to capturing all of the Donbas region, comprising Donetsk and Luhansk. As of now, they hold approximately 20% of Ukrainian territory.
