An overnight Russian attack on Ukraine's Dnipropetrovsk region resulted in injuries to three people and targeted energy facilities belonging to the state railways, local officials reported.

The attack on Dnipro also caused significant damage by blowing out over 100 windows in the city's apartment buildings, according to Governor Serhiy Lysak's communication on Telegram.

The Ukrainian military confirmed that Russia launched a ballistic missile and 117 drones in the attack. Among the drones deployed, 74 were intercepted by the air force, and an additional 38 failed to reach their targets, likely due to electronic warfare countermeasures.

In response to the morning attack on its energy facilities in the region, Ukraine's state railways company announced adjustments to train routes.

Furthermore, the drone strike led to damage to an administrative building in the Kharkiv region and set approximately 20 garages on fire in the northeastern region of Sumy, as reported by regional officials.
