Russia Claims US Will Ease Sanctions in Targeted Ceasefire Agreement with Ukraine

A ceasefire agreement has been reported between Russia and Ukraine in the Black Sea, contingent on sanctions relief from the Kremlin. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed that his forces would comply with the partial truce immediately. The U.S. will assist in restoring Russia's export access and improving navigation safety in the Black Sea, as stated by the White House. Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov cautioned that any movements of Russian military vessels outside the eastern Black Sea would be regarded as violations.
