Prosus Acquires Just Eat Takeaway.com in €4bn Deal

European food delivery giant Just Eat Takeaway.com is set to be acquired by Dutch technology investor Prosus in an all-cash deal valued at approximately 4.1 billion euros ($4.3 billion). According to a joint statement released on Monday, acquiring Just Eat Takeaway.com will enable Prosus to establish a leading position in the European food delivery market and enhance its presence in a significant growth sector, complementing its current food delivery operations beyond Europe.
