Australian detectives are investigating the possibility of foreign actors paying criminals to carry out antisemitic attacks in the country, as reported by the police. Police Commissioner Reece Kershaw revealed that 15 serious allegations of antisemitic crimes are currently being investigated. Following an arson incident targeting a childcare center, the number of detectives assigned to Strike Force Pearl was increased from 20 to 40. Prime Minister Anthony Albanese noted that some attacks are believed to be orchestrated by individuals who are financially incentivized rather than driven by ideological motives.
