Thai and Cambodian police conducted a joint operation in Poipet, rescuing 215 foreigners from a scam center as part of a broader crackdown on cyber scams in the region. Among the rescued individuals were 50 Pakistanis, as confirmed by Thai government spokesman Jirayu Houngsub. This successful operation, a result of collaboration between the Royal Thai Police and Cambodian authorities, was supported by intelligence from Thai officials. Mr. Jirayu highlighted that this operation set a record for the highest number of victims saved from a scam facility in both Thailand and Cambodia.
