Pilot Project Planned for Jamming Cellphone and Drone Signals in Federal and Quebec Prisons

Ottawa has authorized a pilot project aimed at blocking cellphone and drone signals in federal and Quebec provincial prisons. Industry Minister François-Philippe Champagne emphasized in a media statement that the unauthorized use of drones and cell phones in prisons poses a significant threat to the safety and security of Canadians.
