Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath will reunite for a final time for a fundraising concert in Birmingham on July 5th. The heavy metal pioneers will headline a one-day festival at Villa Park, featuring bands they inspired such as Metallica, Pantera, Slayer, Gojira, and Anthrax.
This event marks the first reunion of Black Sabbath's original lineup with Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, and Bill Ward in 20 years. Although Osbourne has faced challenges due to Parkinson's and spinal injuries, he is determined to perform alongside his bandmates.
Sharon Osbourne stated that this show will definitively be Ozzy's last, serving as closure for him. Named Back To The Beginning, the concert aims to support Cure Parkinson's, Birmingham Children's Hospital, and Acorn Children's Hospice. Guests like Tom Morello, Billy Corgan, Slash, and Fred Durst will join in paying tribute, performing a mix of Sabbath and Ozzy songs.
