Norway has raised its assistance to Ukraine to a total of 85 billion kroner for 2025, as confirmed by Norwegian government officials. The aid increase was unanimously approved by all nine political parties in the Norwegian Parliament on March 6. Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre declared that this represents Norway's most serious security challenge since World War II. Norway's objective is to aid Ukraine and strengthen European support in response to worries about the U.S. withdrawing support.
