DUBLIN, Jan 15 (Reuters) - Ireland's Fianna Fail party leader Micheal Martin is scheduled to resume the position of prime minister next week, as per a coalition agreement reached with rival Fine Gael and independent lawmakers released on Wednesday.
This will mark Martin's second term as prime minister, after previously serving from 2020 to 2022. As outlined in the agreement, he is expected to pass on the position to the Fine Gael party leader in November 2027.
