Mexico's President Presents Additional Names of Alleged Drug Traffickers for US Extradition

Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum announced that there are additional lists of alleged drug traffickers pending extradition to the United States.

In February, Mexico transferred nearly a dozen individuals accused of connections to violent drug cartels to U.S. authorities following threats from President Donald Trump to impose broad tariffs on Mexican goods, which he later deferred.

Trump is expected to announce reciprocal tariff rates today after implementing levies on aluminum, steel, and automobiles.

During her daily press conference, Sheinbaum stated that Mexico does not endorse an "eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth" approach in response to U.S. tariffs but confirmed that actions would be taken.
