Jack Fincham, a former Love Island winner, was quickly released from prison after being convicted of dangerous dog offenses. The 32-year-old's black cane corso was involved in two incidents: biting a runner in Swanley, Kent, in September 2022, and attacking a woman in Grays, Essex, last year.

Fincham, residing in Swanley, admitted to two charges related to his dog being out of control and received a six-week prison sentence at Southend Magistrates' Court. However, he was released on the same day as he appealed the sentence.

Originally known for winning the ITV dating show in 2018 with Dani Dyer, Fincham worked as a pen salesman. The court learned that he had a suspended sentence for a separate driving offense at the time of the Swanley incident.

During sentencing, Magistrate Anne Wade emphasized the need for Fincham's dog to be muzzled in public and to be under control around minors. Despite the penalties imposed, Fincham was ordered to pay £3,680 in total, with an option to pay in installments.

Essex Police expressed gratitude towards the victims' cooperation during the investigation. Fincham, who gave a thumbs up upon sentencing, was granted bail pending his appeal the same day, an uncommon occurrence according to the BBC.
