Britain's Information Commissioner's Office initiated an investigation on March 3 into the protection of children's privacy by TikTok, Reddit, and Imgur. The inquiry will specifically scrutinize how TikTok utilizes personal data of users aged 13-17 for content suggestions, while Reddit and Imgur's procedures for verifying the ages of young users will also be reviewed. Should any violations of laws be identified, the Information Commissioner's Office will request responses from the companies prior to reaching a conclusion.
