Intel's incoming CEO, Lip-Bu Tan, is reportedly planning major changes to manufacturing and artificial intelligence strategies to rejuvenate the company. Improving performance at Intel Foundry, responsible for producing chips for companies such as Microsoft and Amazon, is a key focus for Tan. He intends to address the reduced workforce, which was trimmed to around 109,000 by the end of last year, according to sources. An Intel spokesman stated that Tan will prioritize listening to customers, partners, and employees to drive the business towards future success.
