Intel Postpones Opening of Ohio Chip Plant to 2030-2031

Intel's $28 billion chip plant in New Albany, Ohio, is now scheduled for completion in 2030 and 2031, as announced in a press release. The project has encountered a delay of five to six years from its initial timeline. Despite this setback, Intel has already invested $3.7 billion in the local area and affirms its dedication to the project. Chandrasekaran emphasized, "In no way does this diminish our long-term commitment to Ohio."
