Grayscale Investments has introduced the Grayscale Dogecoin Trust, offering investors the opportunity to invest in DOGE, the native token of the Dogecoin network, which boasts significant global adoption owing to its user-friendly nature and fast transaction speed.
The Trust is open for daily subscription to eligible accredited investors and operates similarly to Grayscale's other single-asset investment trusts.
Rayhaneh Sharif-Askary, Grayscale's Head of Product & Research, emphasized that Dogecoin serves as a tool for financial inclusion, enabling marginalized communities to engage with the financial system.
Grayscale believes that the Dogecoin Trust fulfills the intended purpose of Bitcoin and advocates for an egalitarian philosophy.
