French Fugitive "The Fly" Apprehended in Romania After Deadly Prison Break

Mohamed Amra, also known as 'The Fly', was apprehended yesterday close to a shopping center in Bucharest following a nine-month pursuit. In May 2024, he managed to flee, resulting in the death of two prison officers and injuries to three others during an armed assault on his convoy using military-grade weapons. France intends to construct a high-security prison in the near future to house its top 100 drug traffickers, drawing on Italian anti-mafia legislation as a blueprint to avoid similar escape incidents. Authorities have detained ten individuals suspected of aiding Amra in his breakout.
