Senator Elizabeth Warren has sent a letter to Elon Musk containing 30 recommendations aimed at reducing government spending. The areas targeted include the Department of Defense and healthcare fraud. Musk, who heads the Department of Government Efficiency, initially set out to cut $2 trillion in federal spending but later revised the goal to $1 trillion. Among Warren's suggestions are the renegotiation of Defense contracts to potentially save $200 billion and tackling Medicare fraud, which could result in annual savings of up to $400 million. Despite previous disagreements, Warren has expressed a willingness to work alongside Musk in minimizing wasteful spending while safeguarding the middle class.
