Ecuador's President Declares Refusal to Accept Deported Migrants from Other Countries

Ecuadorian President Daniel Noboa stated that Ecuador will not accept deported migrants of other nationalities and criticized Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro for refusing flights carrying Venezuelan deportees from the United States.

Noboa emphasized Ecuador's commitment to receiving its own citizens deported from abroad, citing, "we do not abandon our people."

He condemned Maduro for turning away deported Venezuelans, labeling the action as "a complete lack of empathy."

Maduro, in response to canceled flights to repatriate Venezuelan migrants, expressed frustration over the situation without directly naming the involved company.

Noboa characterized Maduro's actions as typical of authoritarian regimes, showing disregard for those fleeing crises caused by their own policies.

Maduro has consistently denounced sanctions imposed by the United States and others as attempts to weaken Venezuela through an "economic war."

Despite economic challenges, Maduro and his supporters highlight Venezuela's resilience in the face of sanctions, attributing some hardships to external measures while defending the country's performance.
