Decline in American Confidence in Trump’s Economic Management: CBS News Poll

President Donald Trump is facing criticism for his economic policies, with only 23 percent of Americans feeling better off under his leadership, according to a CBS News poll. There has been a significant 33-point shift in opinion, with 42 percent now feeling worse off due to Trump's policies, compared to 28 percent earlier this year. Sixty-four percent of Americans believe the Trump administration is not doing enough to lower prices, while 55 percent feel it is placing too much emphasis on tariffs. A majority of Republicans, along with 93 percent of Democrats, agree that federal judges should review Trump's policies, reflecting bipartisan concerns about his economic agenda.
