Court Hears: Thieves Steal £2.8m Gold Toilet from Blenheim Palace in 5 Minutes

According to prosecutor Julian Christopher in Oxford Crown Court, thieves stole an 18-carat gold toilet worth £2.8 million from Blenheim Palace in under five minutes on September 14, 2019. The stolen toilet, titled America by artist Maurizio Cattelan, has not been recovered and is thought to have been dismantled and sold. Christopher mentioned Michael Jones as part of the theft and noted that James Sheen and accomplices assisted in selling the stolen item.
