Actor and director Justin Baldoni has released outtakes from a romantic scene in his film "It Ends With Us," aiming to counter co-star Blake Lively's allegations of sexual harassment.
Lively, in turn, labeled the footage of them filming a slow dance as "damning" and supporting her claims, amidst the legal dispute that has unfolded between the two stars since the release of their hit movie last year.
In the released video, Baldoni defends his actions during the scene, arguing that their interactions were within the context of the scene and conducted professionally. Lively's lawyers, however, point out that the intimacy displayed by Baldoni was not scripted, and that she was uncomfortable with his unscripted gestures.
The legal battle between them escalated when Lively accused Baldoni of inappropriate behavior and tarnishing her reputation, while Baldoni countered with allegations of her trying to harm him through deceit.
The back-and-forth continued, with each side presenting their version of events, with Lively alleging misconduct during the filming of intimate scenes and Baldoni defending his actions as professional and appropriate.
