China to Investigate Google for Suspected Antitrust Violations

China has announced that it will levy tariffs on U.S. imports, with rates set at 15% for coal and LNG, and 10% for crude oil and farm equipment, taking effect on February 10th.

The Ministry of Commerce in China is conducting an investigation into Google for suspected antitrust violations, in conjunction with the introduction of new U.S. tariffs.

President Donald Trump has hinted at the possibility of raising tariffs on China unless it takes action to combat fentanyl trafficking into the U.S.

China has criticized the U.S. tariffs, claiming they breach World Trade Organization regulations and hinder economic cooperation.
