Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian stated during a press briefing that "China's cooperation with Panama under the Belt and Road Initiative is progressing as planned." Lin also urged all involved parties to maintain confidence, disregard external influences, and prioritize decisions that align with the collective bilateral relationship and the long-term interests of both nations.
