China Imposes Additional Tariffs Up to 15% on Select U.S. Goods Starting March 10

China will levy tariffs of up to 15% on major U.S. agricultural products beginning March 10, 2025, as announced by the Commerce Ministry. This move comes in response to U.S. President Donald Trump's recent directive to increase tariffs on Chinese goods to 20%, which came into force on March 4, 2025. Additionally, Beijing has identified 10 additional U.S. companies for inclusion in its unreliable entity list due to their collaboration with Taiwan, impacting their activities in China.
