During a meeting in The Hague with Dutch King Willem-Alexander, China's Vice Premier Ding Xuexiang expressed China's willingness to enhance mutual trust and collaborate on maintaining global supply chain stability. The meeting, reported by China's foreign ministry, followed the Dutch government's announcement of new export controls on advanced semiconductor equipment, starting April 1.

Ding mentioned that despite evolving international dynamics, the relationship between the Netherlands and China has remained positive. He highlighted China's readiness to boost understanding, trust, and cooperation across various sectors to further their comprehensive partnership. Emphasizing the potential for closer collaboration, Ding underscored mutual benefits for both nations and emphasized the relevance of such cooperation for global peace and development.

Furthermore, Ding reiterated China's commitment to working with the Netherlands to ensure the stability and efficiency of the global supply chain. In response to the Dutch government's export control expansion, ASML, a prominent computer chip equipment manufacturer, stated that it anticipates no significant impact on its operations.
