The Beatles, an iconic band, received a nomination for Song of the Year with "Now And Then," marking their first nomination since 1977. The eligibility criteria for the song, released in November 2023, includes spending at least eight weeks in the top 15 of the UK sales chart.
At the March ceremony, the Brit Awards' Rising Star prize will be awarded, following in the footsteps of past winners including Sam Fender, Adele, and Rag 'N' Bone Man, among others. The 70 nominees are spread across 13 categories, including key ones like Artist of the Year, Group of the Year, and Album of the Year.
British artists nominated for multiple awards this year encompass Beabadoobee, Central Cee, Chase & Status, Fred Again, JADE, Nia Archives, Michael Kiwanuka, Rachel Chinouriri, and Sam Fender. The Brit Awards feature five genre categories voted on by the public via WhatsApp: Alternative/Rock, Dance, Pop, R&B, and Hip Hop/Grime/Rap.
The winners will be revealed during a live show presented by Jack Whitehall on 1st March at The O2 arena.
