SAO PAULO, Feb 11 (Reuters) - The Brazilian steelmakers' lobby group, Aco Brasil, expressed surprise on Tuesday at the U.S. tariffs imposed on steel and aluminum imports. The group stated that this measure would not benefit either country.
Aco Brasil highlighted in a statement that the previous agreement between Brazil and the U.S. had been favorable. The group intends to initiate discussions to reinstate steel trade under the former terms.
