Boots has recalled more than 110,000 packs of paracetamol tablets because of a packaging mistake that incorrectly labeled them as aspirin. The UK Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency has encouraged customers to inspect batch number 241005 and return any affected packs to prioritize patient safety. It is recommended that customers discontinue use of the product right away and can return it for a full refund, with or without a receipt, as outlined by the MHRA. Boots and its supplier, Aspar Pharmaceuticals Limited, are currently conducting a thorough investigation into the packaging error.
