France's far-right party, Rassemblement National, has decided not to endorse a no-confidence motion against Prime Minister François Bayrou, thus strengthening his position. Bayrou resorted to Article 49.3 to approve the budget without a vote, triggering a no-confidence motion from the left. The planned no-confidence vote is set for Wednesday and requires the support of at least half of the 577 votes to succeed. The Socialists have opted not to support the motion, emphasizing that "It's time to give France a budget."
